Plot: After winning the karate tournament, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and his mentor Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) travel to Okinawa, Japan. There, Mr. Miyagi faces unresolved issues from his past, including a long-standing rivalry with his former friend Sato (Danny Kamekona) and his strained relationship with his dying father. Daniel becomes involved in the local culture and a romantic interest, while also facing off against Sato’s aggressive nephew, Chozen (Yuji Okumoto).
