Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) is the sixth installment in the Terminator franchise, directed by Tim Miller and produced by James Cameron, who returns to the series after a long hiatus. The film serves as a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), effectively ignoring the events of the previous sequels. The group soon joins forces with Sarah Connor, who has spent years hunting down Terminators since her son John’s death. As they struggle to survive against the relentless pursuit of the Rev-9, they seek out the T-800, now living under the alias “Carl.” This version of the T-800 has aged and developed a sense of conscience, leading to an unlikely alliance in their fight against the Rev-9.
