“Planet Terror” (2007) is a cult classic action-horror film directed by Robert Rodriguez. It is one half of the double feature “Grindhouse,” a collaboration with Quentin Tarantino’s “Death Proof.” The film pays homage to the exploitation films of the 1970s, characterized by its over-the-top violence, gritty aesthetic, and dark humor.

The story is set in a small Texas town where a deadly biochemical agent is released, turning the townspeople into grotesque, flesh-eating zombies.
