Fear the Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series that premiered on AMC in 2015. It is a companion series and prequel to the popular zombie-apocalypse drama The Walking Dead.

The series follows a dysfunctional family living in Los Angeles at the onset of the zombie apocalypse. Led by Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her boyfriend Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis), the family includes Madison’s children, Nick (Frank Dillane) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), as well as Travis’ son, Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie).

As the world begins to crumble and the dead start rising, the family must band together to survive the growing chaos and the threat of the undead. They witness firsthand the early stages of the outbreak, grappling with the confusion, fear, and violence that accompanies the end of civilization as they know it.
