Kung Fury is a short action-comedy film directed by and starring David Sandberg. Set in 1985, the story follows Kung Fury, a Miami police detective and martial artist who gains superpowers after being struck by lightning and bitten by a cobra.

When Adolf Hitler, self-styled as “Kung Führer,” travels through time to challenge Kung Fury, our hero teams up with allies like Hackerman, a computer whiz, and Thor, the Norse god, to travel back in time to Nazi Germany. The film is a homage to 1980s martial arts and action films, filled with over-the-top action, humor, and retro special effects.
