After the failure of Batman & Robin (1997), Warner Bros. decided to reinvent the Batman Begins franchise on the silver screen. Director Christopher Nolan, known for Memento and Insomnia, succeeded in recreating Batman in a darker and more realistic way. The film was the perfect starting point for Nolan’s Batman trilogy.

Although not as successful as previous works, Batman Begins still created a stir with the participation of famous actors, attracting audiences with its novelty in this Marvel superhero world.
