“Doctor Strange,” released in 2016, is a superhero film directed by Scott Derrickson and based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is the fourteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange. The film also features Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton in supporting roles.

The story follows Dr. Stephen Strange, a highly skilled but arrogant neurosurgeon. Strange’s life takes a drastic turn when a car accident severely damages his hands, rendering him unable to perform surgery. Desperate to heal his hands and regain his former life, Strange exhausts all traditional medical options. When these efforts fail, he embarks on a journey to find a mysterious place called Kamar-Taj, after hearing about a man who was miraculously healed there.
